12 LA Warehouses Raided, Cargo Theft Suspects Arrested

In a pre-dawn raid, a coordinated effort by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Organized Retail Crime Task Force (ORCTF) targeted multiple locations near downtown LA.

These locations, described as warehouses crammed with stolen goods, highlight the growing issue of organized cargo and retail theft.

Captain Calvin Mah of the Sheriff's department confirmed the seized items were a mix of stolen merchandise, ranging from pharmaceuticals and cosmetics to household products – all exceeding $100,000 in value.

The investigation, initiated with information from CVS, revealed a sophisticated operation encompassing thefts across state lines (Arizona, Nevada, and California) including cargo thefts targeting train lines and trucks.
