Long Beach Leads The Charge
The Long Beach Container Terminal (LBCT) in California is taking center stage with a hefty $34.9 million grant. This funding will empower them to replace a significant portion (155 units) of their on-site commercial truck and bus fleet with zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs). The grant goes beyond just the vehicles, encompassing the vital charging infrastructure required to support this electric transition.

Electrification Expands
The FHWA's commitment extends further, with charging infrastructure operator Voltera receiving a portion of the grant funding. Their sites in California and Georgia will benefit from $11.4 million allocated for infrastructure development.
